This evening, Ambassador Beresford-Hill, CBE, was joined by our Special Advisor on Human Trafficking and Child Protection, Mrs. O’Hara Rusckowski, as he attended the 5th annual UNITAS Gala against human trafficking. UNITAS aims ‘to disrupt human trafficking and exploitation through education and training and to provide opportunities for survivors to thrive’. This evening comes during the New York fashion week, where the community traditionally express serious concern for the ongoing trafficking across the globe. This gala raised money to continue the work of UNITAS, and spread their vision of ‘a world where no person is trafficked or exploited’.
