On 25th August 2026, the Deputy Permanent Observer of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the United Nations, Judge Brien Purcell Horan, held a bilateral meeting with the Deputy Permanent Representative of the Republic of Rwanda to the United Nations, Mr. Robert Kayinamura.

The meeting provided a welcome opportunity to discuss matters of mutual interest, including humanitarian initiatives as well as avenues for strengthening engagement between the Sovereign Order of Malta and the Republic of Rwanda.

The meeting took place in a cordial and constructive atmosphere, reaffirming the shared commitment to cooperation.
