On 30 June 2022 Ambassador Dr. Paul Beresford-Hill paid a welcome visit to Laura Olson, newly appointed Permanent Observer and Head of the IFRC Delegation to the United Nations and Deputy Permanent Observer Liana Ghukasyan to exchange ideas and strengthen the relations between the two organizations. The Order and the Red Cross are both active in the humanitarian field, providing aid and assistance around the world.
