Our delegate Ms. Federica Ostoni addressed the United Nations at the 2022 UN Third Committee Conference for her third time, on Thursday 20th October.

Ms. Ostoni intervened on the “international solidarity” discussion, commenting the tremendous contribution of the Independent Expert Mr. Obiora C. Okafor, who personally thanked the Order of Malta.

“During times of conflict and natural disasters, the lessons we are often left having learned include the significance of the responsibility that we, as the international community, must take to provide global support during these times of need. Specifically, during COVID-19, we learned to recognise, and acted on, the responsibility that we all have to cross borders and boundaries to provide support in the name of human rights”.
