Today the Order of Malta Permanent Observer Mission to the UN in New York was represented during an international video conference on ‘The Role of Youth in Tackling Poverty and Hunger at Local, Regional and International Levels’.
In September 2021, the Secretary-General presented the report: “Our Common Agenda”. This report contains recommendations to advance the common agenda, as mandated by Member States in the Political Declaration on the 75th anniversary of the United Nations.
The Ambassador of the Order of Malta to the United Nations in New York, Paul Beresford–Hill, exchanged notes with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Lesotho to the United Nations, Nkopane Monyane, to open diplomatic relations with the African country.
On Monday, November 12, the Permanent Observer Mission of the Sovereign Order of Malta, together with the Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy See to the UN, held a concert in commemoration of the Centenary of the End of World War I.
