H.E. Ambassador Beresford-Hill accompanied by H.E. Ambassador Mr. Julien Brunie, met with H.E. Ambassador Mr. Mohamad Issa Abushahab, DPR of the Permanent Mission of the UAE to the UN
The meeting, which took place on the 7th of June, 2023, aimed to discuss the mutual interests and concerns of their respective governments, and how they might partner together moving forward in order to seek common ideals on the path to greater unity among the nations.

In the meeting, the Ambassador commended Malteser International’s communicative efforts during his tenure as Ambassador, noting that it is vital and of utmost importance that the Mission to the United Nations and Malteser International continue to collaborate as well as they have been over the past few years, so that the Ambassador, as the Order’s voice at the United Nations, may continue to share with the world the great works of the Sovereign Order of Malta.
