In a significant step towards strengthening international ties, the Ambassador of The Gambia, H.E. Lamin B. Dibba, and the Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta, H.E. Paul Beresford-Hill, recently convened to discuss the establishment of diplomatic relations between their respective entities. 

Ambassador Beresford-Hill reiterated the Order’s unwavering commitment to moving forward with the process of formalizing diplomatic ties. Both ambassadors acknowledged the enormous potential for mutual benefits through diplomatic relations. Ambassador Beresford-Hill reiterated the Order’s commitment to humanitarian work and expressed a strong desire to establish a meaningful presence in The Gambia, with the primary goal of serving the population in need.

The meeting concluded with both parties expressing their eagerness to move forward with the establishment of diplomatic relations and collaboration on humanitarian efforts.
