On 19 June, 2023, H.E. Ambassador Beresford-Hill greeted His Serene Highness Albert II, Prince of Monaco, at the United Nations during his nations 30th Anniversary Celebration of UN Membership. During their meeting, the Ambassadors discussed the strong relationship between their two nations with the hopes of furthering their alliance.

During their conversation, the Serene Highness mentioned that the Sovereign Order of Malta is one of only three nations to maintain full-time Embassy in the Principality, and that he held the Sovereign Order in especially high regard.
