Highlighting the Order\u2019s humanitarian work, Professor Audia drew attention to the realities faced by survivors of trafficking and other forms of exploitation, as well as the work of the Order\u2019s relief agency, Malteser International, and its local associations in supporting vulnerable populations.<\/p>\n<p>She underscored the need for a future convention to place prevention at its heart and victims at its centre, ensuring that survivors, witnesses and their families receive the protection and support necessary to rebuild their lives.
