The signing took place on 24 September in New York, within the framework of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly underway this week.<\/p>\n<p>In his meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs Denzil Douglas, the Grand Chancellor stressed that the opening of diplomatic relations is intended to facilitate the implementation of humanitarian assistance projects on the ground.
